Company Overview

Introduction and Background

Acacia Consulting Services Pty Ltd has been in operation for over 20 years supporting Attaché, RM Asia Pacific (formerly CAZ) and MYOB EXO Business accounting and payroll software products. We currently support a base of over 300 clients. 

Acacia is Attaché, RM Asia Pacific and MYOB EXO Business accredited. Our professional approach has won Attaché’s Consultants Award for 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. In 2000 we received the Top Consultants Award, as Attaché’s largest distributor in Victoria in 1999. And again in 2000! In 2001 and 2002 we were in the top two for sales of Attaché software in Victoria and the top six in Australia.

Our team of consultants has a wealth of experience installing and supporting accounting software. Over the years, we have attracted many clients from a diverse range of industries including importers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, engineers and service providers.

Our aim is not simply to sell accounting software, but rather, to build a long term business relationship with our clients. Our objective is to provide you with the highest possible level of service and to ensure that you get the most from your accounting and information systems by identifying business opportunities and increasing efficiency.

Reliable service is not just our goal – we regard it as our responsibility.

In March 2001, Acacia became a founding member of The Consulting Alliance - a national group of accounting software consultants around Australia. Between the 15 independent companies who are Consulting Alliance members, virtually every mid range accounting software product on the market is represented. This gives us a great breadth of knowledge about current products and future developments in the accounting software industry.

There are Consulting Alliance partners in every capital city around Australia. Importantly, for our clients with interstate offices requiring local support, we are able to recommend a local Consulting Alliance partner to provide them with a similar level of support.

 

Company Milestones

December 1989 - Commenced trading as Acacia Consulting Services.

February 1994 - Awarded Attaché’s Top Consultants Award

June 1994 - Opened our new office with a fully equipped training room and commenced formal classroom training.

February 1995 - Awarded Attaché’s Top Consultants Award

December 1995 - Third Victorian dealership for CAZ (Now RM Asia Pacific) Software

April 1996 - Awarded Attaché’s Consultants Award

April 1997 - Awarded Attaché’s Consultants Award

May 1998 - Awarded Attaché’s Consultants Award

May 1999 - Awarded Attaché’s Consultants Award

May 2000 - Awarded Attaché’s Top Consultants Award

January 2001 - Top two in Victoria for Sales of Attaché Software in 2000

August 2001 - Exonet (Now MYOB EXO) Accreditation

January 2002 - Top two in Victoria for Sales of Attaché Software in 2001

January 2003 - Top two in Victoria for Sales of Attaché Software in 2002

October 2008  - Relocated to our new office with updated facilities in Balwyn

December 2009 - Acacia Celebrates 20 years of providing high level support to its clients
