Also set Pay Frequency to “Any” to ensure ALL pays are included.
A quick check of details on these reports will enable verification that the Payroll contains all relevant data, correctly assigned to the Payment Summaries.
Verify Tax: PAYG for BAS = PAYG from Trial Balance + Extra Tax Deduction(from Deduct History) – ensure this is the amount of PAYG Tax remitted to the ATO, there would also be additional amounts remitted for ETP Tax if applicable(these can be verified from the Deduction History Report).
Verify RESC: RESC on Pay Summaries = Sal Sac Super + Employer Additional Super. Note these can be verified individually if necessary, it is recommended that a review of the Maintenance report for Superannuation should confirm the RESC setting for each super item.
Verify Gross: Gross Taxable = Gross Pay on Pay Summary Report less any Pre Tax Allowances where Payment Summary Type = “Work-Related” plus any Post Tax Deductions which are set as Payment Summary Type “Deduction”. |

Increase to EXO and ES Annual Licence Fees
EXO and ES Annual Licence Fees are increasing by an average of 20%
EXO Business
In line with MYOB’s overall strategy of supporting growing businesses, they have decided to leave software prices unchanged - so there is no change to the acquisition costs of licences for either existing or new clients. The Annual Licence Fee will be increased in line with the significant rise in product investment and resulting release contents.
The first half of 2011 sees two major releases: EXO Business 8.1 that provides extensive performance gains, GL traceability and expanded tax rounding options; and EXO Business 8.2, focused on EXO Analytics which delivers clients the unprecedented ability to view their business performance data including the flexibility of completely customised dashboards to meet each user’s requirements.
Along with the ongoing program of product enhancements, the product expansions above provide increased value for many clients. In particular, the inclusion of an EXO Analytics licence with each
EXO Finance licence (from EXO Business 8.2 onwards). This allows additional users to access components of the EXO Business suite without the need to purchase additional EXO Finance user licences.
EXO Employer Services
Consistent with MYOB’s approach to maintain competitiveness across their product lines, comparative product pricing analysis indicates that a pricing adjustment in the enterprise payroll and HRMS market is applicable. They have decided to increase both software and ALF pricing.
When will the new pricing take effect?
The new pricing will be effective on all invoices issued from 1st July 2011 including software sales and annual licence fees as outlined above. Please note that July renewals are invoiced in June thus will be invoiced at the current prices.
