We recommend this patch be installed by your IT Administrator. 

If you require assistance with the installation, Acacia can perform most of this upgrade for you via your remote access connection. The process will take between 1 and 2 hours and will be charged at our standard hourly consulting rate of $145.00 + GST. Alternatively we can perform this service on site at your school, again at the standard rate plus an additional one-way travel charge. 

Functionality Provided:

Maze 9.2 introduces a number of new features, some of which are briefly described below.

• Windows 7 support
• Enhanced SMS functionality, including receiving and recording replies to SMS messages and receiving notification that a reply to an SMS message was received
• Enhanced email functionality, including sending html formatted emails and sending emails to individual recipients or a group of recipients from display formats
• Ability to undertake a search in display screens for fields that contain no value (search for null)

Installation:

1.         Backup the Database, Formats & Schema. (Note: Please refer to the document ‘How to Backup using Database Manager’.) 

2.         Download and extract the CEO 2010_2, Maze 9.2 Release and Patch QR14958 into the Patches folder.  

3.         Please refer to Maze 9.2 and CEO 2010.2 Installation Checklist for installation instructions.  

How to confirm that the patch has been installed successfully

Help-About can be used to identify which patches have been installed.  On the Maze menu click on Help and then About MAZE... 

Select the Platform Updates tab. The text box on this tab should display:
